Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve assembly in which a gas flow is not displaced at a downstream side of a butterfly valve, but becomes uniform.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a valve assembly 1 in which a front end side outer edge [a front end side outer edge of a valve plate 31] of a butterfly valve 3 at one side in a direction crossing at a right angle in respect to a rotating shaft A3 of the butterfly valve 3 is abutted against one side step part Sa when the butterfly valve 3 is fully closed and a rear end side outer edge [a rear end side outer edge of the valve plate 31] of the butterfly valve 3 at the other side in a direction crossing at a right angle in respect to the rotating shaft A3 of the butterfly valve 3 is abutted the other side step part Sb. A second gas passage 22 is eccentric toward the other side in respect to the first gas passage 21 and an inclination surface 22c forming an obtuse angle in respect to a front end surface 22a of the second gas passage 22 constituting one side step part Sa and an inner peripheral surface 22b of the second gas passage 22 is formed and an arc-shaped surface 22d contacted with the inclination surface 22c and the inner peripheral surface 22b of the second gas passage 22 is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
