A valve box 31 of a vacuum valve 30 comprises: a water suction part 32 which is connected to a water suction pipe 19; a discharge part 33 which is connected to a vacuum water feed pipe 15 and in which a second axis A2 is aligned with a first axis A1; a valve box body 34 in which a third axis A3 is positioned at an acute angle to the first axis A1 of the water suction part 32 and positioned at an obtuse angle to the second axis A2 of the discharge part 33, and a valve port 37 positioned in a direction orthogonal to the third axis A3 is formed inside a valve seat 36. In the valve box 31, a swollen part 38 swelling to the side of the water suction part 32 is provided in a part of the valve box body 34 continuing to the water suction part 32, when viewed along the third axis A3 of the valve box body 34.
