To provide a valve for detecting a liquid level capable of securing the strength of a peripheral wall part by reinforcing the peripheral wall part of which the strength is lowered by forming through holes on the peripheral wall.
In this valve for detecting the liquid level, comprising a valve body 41 having an orifice 43o on its upper part communicated with a flow channel 43f, a plurality of bottom through holes 7h on its bottom part, and a plurality of peripheral wall through holes 44h on its peripheral wall part, a valve element 11 moved in the valve body 41 for opening and closing the orifice 43o, and a coil spring 21 for closing the orifice 43o by moving the valve element 11 in cooperation with its buoyant force, ribs 44i are mounted on peripheral edges of the peripheral wall through holes 44h of an outer peripheral face of the peripheral wall part.
