Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly and rationally minimize the outer diameter of a float and thereby compactify a valve device as much as possible, the valve including the float and a coil spring energizing the float.SOLUTION: A valve device for a fuel tank includes: a case 1 including a valve port 10 communicating the inside and outside of a fuel tank T; a float 2 provided in the case 1 and opening/closing the valve port 10; a coil spring 3 housing the float 2 thereinside and energizing the float 2 toward the side of the valve port 10. In the valve device, an upper end 3a of the coil spring 3 contacts with a contact part 20d formed at the side part of the float 2, and a lower end 3b of the coil spring is supported by the case 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
