Abstract:
To provide a valve device for a fuel tank which enables a height of an entire float valve to be lowered and a position of a lock point of a fuel tank to be heightened.SOLUTION: This valve device 10 includes a housing and a float valve 40. The float valve 40 has: a lower member 50 having an engaged part 59; and an upper member 70 which is assembled to the upper side of the lower member in a liftable manner. The upper member 70 has: a ceiling part 71 which moves closer to or away from an opening; an outer wall 77 extending from a rear surface of the ceiling part 71; and an elastic engagement piece 80 which engages with the engaged part 59 of the lower member 50. The elastic engagement piece 80 extends from an area located on the rear surface of the ceiling part 71 and at the inner side of the outer wall 77 and has a structure that elastically returns to engage with the engaged part 59 after deflecting in an outer diameter direction of the upper member 70.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
