To provide a valve device of a hermetic compressor with improved structure to freely adjust the valve height by the displacement and the refrigerant discharge pressure.

This valve device of the hermetic compressor comprises a valve plate having a refrigerant discharge hole for discharging the refrigerant gas, a discharge valve with one end thereof fixed to the valve plate and the other end thereof opening/closing the refrigerant discharge hole, a stopper with one end thereof fixed to the valve plate to hold the discharge valve, a keeper provided on an upper part of the stopper to be separated from the stopper by the predetermined space and fixed to the valve plate, a first buffer means provided on the keeper to buffer the opening/closing operation of the stopper, and a second buffer means installed to be reciprocatingly elevated/lowered by the keeper to buffer the opening/closing operation of the stopper together with the first buffer means.
