Abstract:
PURPOSE: To allow easy strength design as well as easy machining and production by fastening a disc having a diameter larger than the inner diameter of an annular valve seat to a stem axially extended within the arm of a jointing T-tube in such a state as has a center penetrated with the stem, and laying the disc in contact with the seat at the side of a vessel.
CONSTITUTION: The ends of one arm section B of an upper T-tube 2 and one arm section B of a lower T-tube 3 are jointed to each other in such state as clamping an annular valve seat 8 having an inner diameter (d). In this case, airtightness at the joint can be easily attained by use of, for example, a gasket or a vacuum compound. Also, a disc valve 9-2 having a diameter larger than the inner diameter (d) of the seat 8 is in contact with the upper surface of the seat 8. For moving and holding the disc valve 9-2 at the prescribed position, a stem 9-1 is fixed thereto in such state as passing through the center thereof, and axially extended through the arm sections C, B, B' and C7 of the upper and lower T-tubes 2 and 3.
