The valve device comprises a first valve element for starting/ stopping the passage of a water with the opening/closing of a valve, a valve element driving means for driving the first valve element, a driving energy supply means for supplying energy for driving the valve element driving means, and a speed control means having a rotor driven via a speed increasing gear for increasing the driving speed of the valve element driving means and transmitting it, for controlling the driving speed of the valve element driving means with braking force granted to the rotor, wherein a bearing portion is provided on the midway of a transmission path for driving force from the valve element driving means to the rotor.
