To provide a valve device having a seal groove part that can be formed even by a normal cutting machine without hindrance, on a seal surface composed of a horizontal surface and a slope.
The valve device has a valve seat 4 having a hexagonal partitioning surface S formed by combining a trapezoidal shape and an inverted trapezoidal shape in front view and formed with an opening 16, and a valve body 5 capable of opening and closing the opening 16 by being moved parallel with the partitioning surface S. Seal surfaces 21 to 23, and 26 to 28 for sealing between the valve seat 4 and the valve body 5 are formed in a direction perpendicular to the partitioning surface S, namely in the front-back direction, and shaped hexagonally respectively along the outer circumference of the partitioning surface S, and on the seal surfaces 26 to 28 on the valve body 5 side, a seal groove part 31 with a c-shaped inner surface is formed which has a cross section in a circular shape corresponding to a circular seal member 32 and is cut by a predetermined height toward the center from the outer circumference thereof.
