A valve device includes a base having a mounting part for a tubular body and a shaft part, a valve element having a bearing part of the shaft part and turnably assembled to the base, and provided with a lid part for closing one end of the tubular body at the pre-turn position, and a torsional coil spring 30 for accumulating the urging force to the valve element by the turn of the valve element from the pre-turn position. A holding recess 123a is formed, which is provided with a distal wall part 123c and a pair of holding wall parts 123d, 123d capable of introducing a coil part 31 of the spring 30 into the base from the side opposite to the drawing side of arm parts 32, 33 of the spring 30, and brought into contact with an outer circumferential part of the introduced coil part 31.
