Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate leakage of vapor caused by a foreign substance attached to a valve element or a valve seat.SOLUTION: A drain trap 100 comprises: a casing 1 in which a passage through which drain flows is formed; a second valve 4 that includes a second valve seat 42 and a second valve element 41 to be separated from and seated on the second valve seat 42, and that switches between opening and closing of the passage; and a cleaning mechanism 5 that cleans the second valve 4. The cleaning mechanism 5 includes a brush 51 housed in the casing 1 and to be inserted into a gap between a seat surface 41a of the second valve element 41 and a seat surface 42a of the second valve seat 42 to clean the seat surface 41a of the second valve element 41 and the seat surface 42a of the second valve seat 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
