Abstract:
To provide a technology for enabling increase in an opening degree of a valve.SOLUTION: A valve device includes an intake passage through which air taken into an engine for electric power generation flows, a valve for adjusting a passage area of the intake passage, a closing spring for applying closing-side force to the valve, and an actuator for applying opening-side force to the valve by a torque of an opening/closing motor, in which the valve becomes in an open state at a predetermined opening degree in a state in which force for holding the valve on the close side against the closing-side force by the closing spring balances with the opening-side force applied to the valve by a detent torque of the opening/closing motor of the actuator. The valve device is mounted on a vehicle that comprises a battery for storing the electric power generated by a generator including the engine for electric power generation, a traveling motor rotated by the electric power supplied from the battery, and wheels rotationally driven by the traveling motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
