Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a leak over a long packing in the first packing chamber by a belleville spring through a gland bush, and tightening a packing in the second packing chamber by a screw through a gland packing.
CONSTITUTION: Packing chambers 9, 10 dividing inside a valve case 1 into upper/lower two stages are charged with gland packings 25, 27, to screw a screw 23 in the periphery of a holder 24, having a recessed part of storing a belleville spring 21, tightened to a screw 29 in a mouth part side inner wall of the first packing chamber 9. Next by a plurality of the belleville springs 21 stored in the holder 24, the gland packing 25, with which inside the first packing chamber 9 is charged, is always pressed by action of the belleville spring 21 through a gland bush 26, to reduce a pressure of fluid by a packing layer adjacent to a mouth. In this way, stopping a leak can be performed, and since infiltration of fluid is not permitted to an upper layer packing, aged deterioration due to fatigue is prevented from being easily generated, so that a leak can be prevented over a long period.
