Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold the pressing force to a ground packing over a long period of time by interposing the ground packing between a packing storing means and a valve shaft inserted in the means, and pressing the ground packing through a packing pressing means, a packing flange and a plate spring by a bolt member.
SOLUTION: A valve shaft 2 is passed through a ground packing 6 and a packing pressing means 15. A packing flange 7 is loaded thereon. A bow-like plate spring 19 is placed on the packing flange 7, and further fastened from above the plate spring 19 by a bolt member 18. The spring pressure of the plate spring 19 is transmitted to the ground packing 6 through the packing flange 7 and the packing pressing means 15 to press the ground packing 6 with strong force. As the plate spring 19 is bow-like, even if it is fastened by plural bolt members 18, the fastening force is concentrated on the vicinity of the valve shaft 2 so that moment is not applied to the packaging flange 7.
