Abstract:
Provided is a valve device in which it is easy to achieve both maintenance of ventilation performance and improvement of valve reopening pressure. A valve device 10 has a housing 15, which has a valve chamber V and a ventilation chamber R with a partition wall 23 therebetween and has a ventilation hole 25 communicating between these chambers, and a float valve 60. A valve seat 31 is formed on the valve-chamber-V side of the partition wall 23. The valve seat 31 has an opening 33 on the inner side thereof. The opening 33 has a first opening 34 and a slit-shaped second opening 35 extending outward from the outer circumference of the first opening 34. An elastic seal member 65, which is brought toward and away from the valve seat 31 to open and close the first opening 34 and the second opening 35, is disposed above the float valve 60.
