Abstract:
PURPOSE: To ensure a prescribed valve timing, and also disperse a load, and improve load supporting rigidity by supporting a low speed roller follower to the loose end of a high speed swing arm, and also supporting a both low speed rocker arms to both sides, with a single pin in common respectively.
CONSTITUTION: In a valve variable mechanism 30, respective low speed and high speed cams 26, 27 in response to a plurality of intake valves are formed on, for example, an intake cam shaft. A high speed swing arm 34 is arranged on a rocker shaft 33 supported to the bottom side of the intake cam shaft in parallel. In this case, a low speed roller follower 38 which abuts on the low speed cam 26 is installed on the recessed part 35 formed on the loose end of the high speed swing arm 34, and also both low speed rocker arms 39, 40 are installed on both sides of the high speed swing arm 34, by a single pin 37 respectively. It is thus possible to support four constituting parts 34, 38, 39, 40 by the single pin 37 in common so as to disperse a load, and also improve load supporting rigidity.
