To provide a valve driving system with a simple configuration reducing power consumption and preventing catch error.
Holding current can be minimized without causing catch error because a current value for energizing an upper coil 31 or a lower coil 51 is controlled, in a period immediately after an armature is seated on an upper core or a lower core until a fixed time has passed, differently from a period after the fixed time has passed until the armature leaves the upper or lower core. Therefore, even with damper means, it is possible to prevent catch error reliably, reduce power consumption, and prevent damage to a valve driving system due to degradation of fuel consumption or heat. Furthermore, the system can have a simple configuration since control for opening/closing a constant current switch 240 can be performed under open-loop control, and thus enabling the reduction of manufacturing cost of the system.
