To provide a compact valve element of excellent airtightness and excellent workability in which an air gun need not be continuously pushed when filling air, air is filled in one operation, and air is filled/discharged in a short time, and a bag-shaped shock-absorbing member of excellent strength and cushioning property by using the valve element.
This valve element comprises a cylindrical case 1, an inner cylinder 3 which is slidably moved on an inner surface of the cylindrical case 1 in the vertical direction, and has a fluid passage in the axial direction, a band 6 fitted to the other end portion side of the inner cylinder 3 and having a handle, and a hollow outer lid 2 which is screwed to an outer surface of the cylindrical case 1 to vertically move the inner cylinder 3 thereby. This bag-shaped shock-absorbing member has the valve element fitted to an airtight multi-layered bag body.
