To prevent a valve equipped with an air-entraining function capable of preventing the generation of a cavitation at the lower end of a door body and inhibiting the generation of vibration and noise.
In the valve, the door body 16 disposed in a valve box 11 is advanced/retreated from a position wholly closing a flow passage 14 to a position wholly opening the flow passage 14 so as to cross the flow passage 14. A spindle 17 for driving the advancing/retreating of the door body 16 is connected to the upper end of the door body 16 and is formed into a hollow shape to form an air feed passage 20. An air injection port 21 is provided at the lower end of the door body 16 and a hollow part 22 for communicating the air injection port 21 and the air feed passage 20 is formed inside the door body 16.
