To reduce impact of a valve member to be brought in contact with a valve seat by reducing the initial current of a stator, required to move an assembly composed of the valve member and an armature in a valve.

An assembly is formed of a valve member 2 and an armature 3. The assembly is attracted to a stator coil 8 against force of a spring 10 for releasing a valve by electrifying the stator coil 8. The valve member 2 is brought in contact with a valve seat 7, and the valve is closed. When the stator coil 8 is not electrified, the assembly is lowered by force of the spring 10, the valve member 2 is separated from the valve seat 7, and the valve is released. When the valve is made into the completely opening state, the upper end of the spring 10 is separated a little from an adjacent contact surface 11. Since resistance by the spring 10 is not generated in the initial stage in which the assembly is to be attracted after the stator coil is electrified, required force is a little. Accordingly, a small current may be supplied to the stator coil 8.
