Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve gear in which a lift amount of an intake valve and switching timing are simultaneously adjusted.SOLUTION: A cam shaft 1 is rotatably supported by an intermediate movable bearing 5, and the intermediate movable bearing 5 is rotatably supported by a fixed bearing 6. An axial core 10 of the cam shaft 1 and an axial core 9 of the intermediate movable bearing 5 are eccentric with each other by a small dimension E. An inner tooth gear 21 is formed at a sprocket 16 to which a timing chain 15 is wound, and an outer tooth gear 4 at the end of the cam shaft 1 is engaged with the inner tooth gear 21. The sprocket 16 is coaxial with the intermediate movable bearing 5. When the intermediate movable bearing 5 is rotated, the axial core 10 of the cam shaft 1 moves to the vertical direction and the lateral direction, and by this, the lift amount of the intake valve 1a and the switching timing are simultaneously adjusted.
