Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve for an internal combustion engine that can improve the output and fuel economy of the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A valve for an internal combustion engine comprises: a valve body 51 for opening/closing a port 30; a stem 53 provided separately from the valve body 51; and a linear member 52 provided in the port 30, connecting the valve body 51 to the stem 53, and thinner than the stem 53. The linear member 52 has rigidity that can transmit a movement of the stem 53 in a valve opening direction to the valve body 51.
