The valve joint portion reinforcement structure includes an outer hull body spherical portion 11 including an upper opening portion 11B, and welded and jointed to an outer peripheral face of an existing pipe conduit P at its side opening portion 11A, an outer hull body cylindrical portion 12 welded and joined to the upper opening portion 11B and surrounding a valve operating portion A11, an operation shaft extending portion 20 for extending a valve operation shaft of the valve operating portion A11, a fixed lid body 23 having an opening through which the operation shaft extending portion 20 can pass, at its central portion, and welded and joined to an upper end of the outer hull cylindrical portion 12 at its peripheral edge portion, a sliding lid body 24 including a central opening portion 24A supporting a side face of the operation shaft extending portion 20 in an airtight state, and including a contact face 24B slidable along the fixed lid body 23 while airtightly kept into contact with the fixed lid body 23, and adjusting and fixing means 27 for fixing the fixed lid body 23 and the sliding lid body 24 while adjusting their positional relationship.
