Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the compression efficiency of a compressor by preventing the generation of a dead clearance by accommodating a suction valve into a valve plate.
CONSTITUTION: A valve plate 30 equipped with a suction port 35 and a discharge port 36 corresponding to each cylinder of a cylinder block 11 having a plurality of parallel cylinders on a same circumference is arranged. A groove 1 which has a nearly same shape to that of a suction valve 38 and a nearly equal thickness to that of the suction valve 38 is formed in correspondence with each suction port 35 on the edge surface on the piston side of the valve plate 30. When a pump is in compression cycle, said suction valve 38 can be accommodated into the groove 1.
