Abstract:
PURPOSE: To moderate a passage resistance at a tongue-like or horseshoe-like valve part and reduce the input required for compression for allowing the compressor to operate with high-efficiency, by making a hole in the valve in the vicinity of a discharge or suction port.
CONSTITUTION: A valve 1 is so designed that one end is fixed to a cylinder head 2 with a rivet 5 or the like and the other end can be freely moved in accordance with variation of pressure. Since gas which flows against the valve 1 passes through a hole 6 which is made in the vicinity of a valve seat 4 of a port 3 of a cylinder head 2, the current runs smoothly, providing the same effect as that of a widened passage.
