Abstract:

PURPOSE: To restrain vibration due to combustion load, etc., and also to improve in reliability of a bearing metal in a structure wherein a pair of semicircular bearing metals are disposed in a gap between a crank pin and a connecting rod housing.
CONSTITUTION: There is provided a structure wherein two kinds of bearing metals having different thickness as a pair of bearing metals 11, 12 which are disposed in a gap are coupled and a thick bearing 11 is disposed for an upper half side and a thin bearing 12 for a lower half side, thereby increasing the strongness of the upper half side.
