Abstract:

Provided is a joint member provided with a valve structure body which does not have a slide sealing structure necessitating grease but which facilitates an opening/closing operation of a fluid passage even while having relatively high pressure resistance. A female joint member (2) is provided with a valve member (18) disposed in a fluid passage (10), a valve fixing member (32) held by the valve member, and a valve operation member (34) for operating the valve member. When the valve member is at a closed position, the valve fixing member is engaged with an outer circumferential engagement recess (42) of a joint body (14), and fixes the valve member to the joint body. When a handle (46) of the valve operation member is rotated to displace an inner member (36) forward, the engagement of the valve fixing member with the joint body is released. When the inner member is displaced further forward, the valve member is also displaced forward to be located at an open position for opening the fluid passage.
