Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily fix roller shafts for guiding a switching pin as well as supporting a roller to a rocker arm, while avoiding increase in the number of parts and working manpower, in a valve system for an internal combustion engine wherein a first and second supporting walls for mutually disposing a roller which is brought into rolling contact with a cam are disposed on one side of rocker arms, which are mutually disposed aside thereon by arranging a second support wall on the other rocker arm side, a switch pin of an interlocking switching means is slidably fitted according to the movement toward an interlocking position, the cylindrical roller shafts for rotatably supporting a roller are disposed between the first and second support walls.
SOLUTION: The roller shafts 67, 65 are press-fitted to at least one side of the first and second support walls 36b, 36c and 34b, 34c.
