Abstract:
To provide a valve timing control device which can suppress the lowering of durability caused by the vibration of a winding part while suppressing the deterioration of an electrical characteristic of the winding part.SOLUTION: A valve timing control device of an internal combustion engine comprises: a cover main body 28 attached to a cylinder block, and composed of a resin material as a main element of a cover member 4 having a terminal connected to an external power supply; an inductance coil 64 having an iron core 65a accommodated and arranged in the cover main body, and composed of a rod-shaped magnetic material, a winding part 65b wound to an external periphery of the iron core, arm terminals 65d extending from the other end of the winding part, and connected to terminal pieces 62, 63 of a power feed connector 34, and arm terminals 65c extending from one end of the winding part, and electrically connected to an electric motor; and a resin-made fixing member 68 for fixing the winding part integrally to the cover main body 28 while covering an external peripheral face of the winding part in a state of not intruding into a clearance between coil wires.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
