Abstract:
To provide a valve timing control device of an internal combustion engine which enables improvement of efficiencies of manufacturing operation and assembly operation by reduction of the number of components.SOLUTION: The valve timing control device of an internal combustion engine includes: a cylindrical housing body 7; a vane rotor 9 which is disposed in the housing body 7 so as to enable relative rotation; a cover member having a plate body 110, which closes an opening of one end of the housing body, and female screw formation parts 112 which are integrally formed with the plate body and protrude along a rotation axis direction of the housing body and in each of which a female screw 112a is provided at an inner periphery; and bolts 5 which are inserted into bolt insertion holes 7a to 7e formed at the housing body in a penetrating manner from the rotation axis direction and which are respectively engage with the female screws.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
