A fluid pressure reduction device comprises an outer member and an inner member movable to each other. The outer member has an inner perimeter surface, and the inner member has an outer perimeter surface. The inner perimeter surface and the outer perimeter surface adjoin closely to each other during the movement of the outer member and inner member. The device comprises a plurality of longitudinal channels formed around the inner perimeter surface in the outer member, and guide members formed of metal with higher wear resistance than the outer member and inner member and provided in each of the longitudinal channels adapted to the inner perimeter surface and outer perimeter surface for guiding the movement of the outer member and inner member to reduce wear of the inner perimeter surface and outer perimeter surface.
