Abstract:

To provide a valve improved in the wear resistance, corrosion resistance and durability of a valve body, a valve seat and the like.

Provided are a valve body (14) having two openings (15a, 15b) and a flow path (12), a valve stem (26) penetrating the valve body and a trim device (30) for controlling the flow of the fluid in the flow path, wherein the trim device comprises a valve seat (22) provided in the flow path of the valve body and a valve element (28) mounted to the valve stem and the part or whole of the valve element and/or the valve seat is comprised of an ultra-hard material having the content of 95% or more of tungsten carbide to solve the problems.
