Abstract:
The valve (10) has a valve body (12) with a gas flow passage (16) extending between a gas inlet opening (18) and a gas outlet opening (20), and a control head (14) mounted removable on the valve body. The head includes an axial control rod (60) cooperating with flap gate (34) to move the rod between closed and open positions. A sleeve (82) has a stop movably mounted outside the gas passage and is integrated with the valve body, and enables the gate to be locked onto a sealing seat when the control head is separated from the valve body. An independent claim is also included for a body of a valve comprising a gas flow passage.
