Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vanadate glass whose whose function as an electrode material, solid electrolyte and sensor of thermistor or the like can be improved by its greatly enhanced electric conductivity and also to provide its manufacturing method which enables to easily design apparatus or circuit which use these materials and sensors by controlling its electric conductivity within a predetermined range.
SOLUTION: This vanadate glass is an oxide glass composition containing V, Ba and Fe, whose electric conductivity at room temperature is 10-4-10-1 S.cm-1.
