Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a vane material used for a compressor using alternate fluorocarbon as refrigerant and particularly improved in corrosion resistance and wear resistance, a vane, and a method for producing a vane.
CONSTITUTION: The vane material consists of, by weight, 1.50-2.80% C, ≤1.00% Si, ≤1.00% Mn, 15.00-25.00% Cr, and the balance Fe with ordinary impurities and where, if necessary, any of alloying elements among Ni, W, Mo, V, Co, and Cu can be added independently or in combination. The vane is produced by compacting an atomized powder having the above composition and then performing hot working or hot working and cold working.
