Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane pressing structure of a vane type internal combustion engine which can be manufactured at low costs by a simple structure and maintain air tightness in multiple hollow parts.SOLUTION: A vane pressing structure of a vane type internal combustion engine includes: a housing 2; a spindle 4 which is disposed eccentrically relative to a center axis C1 of the housing 2; a rotor 10 which rotates with the spindle 4 in the housing 2; and vanes 20, each of which slides in a vane groove 12 formed at the rotor 10. A tip part 23 of the vane 20 slidably contacts with an inner peripheral surface of the housing 2, and a bottom part 22 of the vane 20 contacts with an outer peripheral surface of an elastic ring 30 supported by the spindle 4. The elastic ring 30 includes: an external elastic ring 32 which is fitted in an outer ring of a rolling bearing 31; and an internal elastic ring 33 which is fitted in an inner ring of the rolling bearing 31 and is supported by the spindle 4 so as to enable idling. The vane 20 presses an outer peripheral surface of the external elastic ring 32 to press the inner peripheral surface 3 of the housing 2 with its elastic force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
