Abstract:
To provide a vane pump which materializes an improvement in pump performance by suppressing a circulation of compressible fluid between segment spaces.
A vane pump 1 force-feeds compressible fluid by changing volumes in a plurality of segment spaces E partitioned by a vane 7 inserted into a groove of a rotor 6 through the medium of a rotation of the rotor 6. In this case, each of a plurality of leak suppressing members 8 is provided to both axial end surfaces of the rotor 6 so that the adjacent vanes 7 are stretched to each other.
