To provide a compact and inexpensive vane pump with excellent magnetic efficiency.
The vane pump 10 includes a cylindrical stator part 21 arranged on the outer circumferential side of a shaft 12 and functioning as an armature, a cylindrical rotor part 31 arranged on the outer circumferential side of the stator part 21, a plurality of vanes 41 arranged radially around the shaft 12 and advanced/retracted in the radial direction, and a housing 51 having an inner circumferential surface 52a with outer circumferential side end faces of the plurality of vanes 41 being slidably brought into contact therewith. The rotor part 31 includes a magnet 32 arranged on the outer circumferential side with a predetermined spacing from pole teeth 22b, 23b of the stator part 21, a back yoke 33 arranged on the outer circumferential side of the magnet 32, and a vane holder 34 arranged on the outer circumferential side of the yoke while a vane groove 35 for accommodating the plurality of vanes 41 are formed therein. In other words, the rotor part 31 accommodates the plurality of vanes 41, and constitutes a radial gap type motor together with the stator part 21.
