Abstract:
To provide a vane pump capable of restricting a reduction in sealing characteristic between an inner wall surface of a housing and a cap 40.SOLUTION: A cap 40 is formed with a leg part 43 that is protruded in a longitudinal direction toward a bottom part of a storing hole 21 and stored in the storing hole 21. Each of a pair of opposing inner wall surfaces in a rotating direction of a rotor of a vane pump of inner wall surfaces of a vane 20 forming the storing hole 21 is applied as an opposing surface, respectively, an opposing surface at an opposite side of the rotating direction of a pair of opposing surfaces is applied as a first opposing surface 25a, and an opposing surface at opposite side of the rotating direction is applied as a second opposing surface 25b. In this case, a root side in the leg part 43 is applied as a guide part 45 formed with the first guide surface 45a opposing against the first opposing surface 25a and a second guide surface 45b opposing against the second opposing surface 25b. An extremity end side of the leg part 43 from the guide part 45 is applied as a retraction part 46 where the rotating direction side end is retracted against the first guide surface 45a as seen from the rotating axis line direction of the rotor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
