To provide a vane to reduce the friction factor of a slide part of a surface of a vane even when ester refrigerator oil is used as refrigerator oil and an HFC refrigerant is used, and have high wear resistance, and to provide a refrigerant compressor using it.
In this vane, a metallic member is treated such that ammonia and hydrogen gas are used at temperature of 300-650°C, glow discharge of current density of 0.001-2 mA/cm2 is effected on the surface of the metallic member or further, ion-plating of CrN or Tin is applied thereon. This vane is low in the friction factor of a surface and high in wear resistance. Thus, even when a refrigerant is substituted for an HFC refrigerant and refrigerator oil is migrated to an ester refrigerator oil, a film is prevented from peeling on a slide surface between the vane and a roller.
