There is provided a vane rotary type compressor compressing working fluid by rotation of a rotor 2 disposed in a cylinder 1, wherein a communication passage 22 is provided in the rotor 2, incline is made by centrifugal force by rotation of the rotor 2 to allow lubricating oil in the communication passage 22 to be forcibly delivered from a rear lateral plate 7 side to the front lateral plate 6 side, and a minute clearance 20 between the front lateral plate 6 and the rotor 2 is forcibly lubricated so that abnormal wear or seizure can be avoided to provide a highly reliable compressor.
