To provide a vane type compressor which enables reduction of the number of fastening tools for fastening housing members to each other.SOLUTION: A vane type compressor 10 includes: a first housing member 13 provided with a cylinder part 14; a second housing member 12; and fastening tools 78a, 79a which fasten a side plate 15 to an end surface 14t of the cylinder part 14.
