Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane type electric compressor capable of reducing generation of chattering noise regardless of the installation state by a simple constitution without applying special processing to a compression mechanism or without increasing the number of components.SOLUTION: The vane type electric compressor includes: a rotor 41 fixed to a driving shaft 11 and rotatably stored in a cylinder 61b; at least one vane groove 46 formed on the rotor 41; a vane 47 slidably inserted into the vane groove 46 and having an end protruded from the vane groove 46 so as to be slid on a cam surface 42 of the cylinder 61b; an electric motor for rotating and driving the rotor 41; and a drive control section for driving and controlling the electric motor. The drive control section controls the electric motor so that the rotor 41 is stopped in a position where at least one of the vanes 47 is horizontal when the vane type electric compressor is stopped.
