To provide a vapor compression type cycle appropriately carrying out both of defrosting operation and normal operation, and preventing undesired flow of a coolant during the normal operation.
The vapor compression type cycle equipped with an ejector 14, and evaporators 15, 19 is provided with: a bypass passage 23 directly introducing a high pressure coolant from a compressor 12 into the second evaporator 19; an opening and closing means 24 having a predetermined throttle opening when opened for opening and closing the bypass passage 23; a second passage 25 branched off at a downstream side of the opening and closing means 24 to guide a coolant flow to the first evaporator 15; and a first reverse flow preventing means 26a for preventing a reverse flow of the coolant from a first evaporator 15 side of the second passage 25 to a second evaporator 19 side. A forward direction valve opening pressure of the first reverse flow preventing means 26a is larger than a differential pressure of subtracting an inlet pressure of the first evaporator 15 for the coolant flowing out from the ejector 14 from an inlet pressure of the second evaporator 19 during the normal operation, and it is smaller than a pressure loss portion of the high pressure coolant in the second evaporator 19 and the ejector 14 during the defrosting operation.
