Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the vapor fuel processor of an internal combustion engine capable of making opening/closing control of an opening/closing valve in response to the detection signal from a pressure sensor during operation of the engine so as to control a pressure inside a fuel tank and also capable of improving performance of an evaporation system as well as accuracy of pressure control.
CONSTITUTION: A passage 20 is formed of a first passage 24 which connects a fuel tank 16 to a canister 22, and a second passage 26 which connects the canister 22 to an intake passage 10, and a check valve 30 isprovided in the way of the first passage 24. Additionally a branched passage 32 is provided by branching the first passage 24 which is laid between the check valve 30 the canister 22, and an opening/closing valve (first solenoid valve 34) is provided on the branched passage 32 in parallel to the check valve 30, and a pressure sensor 36 which detects inner pressure of a fuel tank 16 is provided, and a control part 38 which makes opening/closing control of the opening/closing valve in response to a detection signal from the pressure sensor 36 at the time of operation in an internal combustion engine 2 is provided.
