Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vapor leakage inspection device and a vapor leakage inspection method of a disk type steam trap capable of achieving a highly precise inspection of vapor leakage.SOLUTION: A vapor leakage inspection device pushes a test unit onto the outer surface of a disk type steam trap and inspects vibrations and counts the number of peaks K of vibration level for 15 minutes (S2, S4, and S6). When the number of peaks K is equal to or below N (zero time), a vapor leakage is determined using a determination value J1 for sealing failure (S12), and a leakage amount q1 is calculated using an equation A1 (S14), and these are displayed (S16). When the number of peaks K is greater than N (0 time), the vapor leakage is determined using a determination value J2 for idle punching (S22), and a leakage amount q2 is calculated using an equation A2 (S24), and these are displayed (S16).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
