To provide a vaporization type oil combustion apparatus preventing delay of vaporization timing of fuel oil even during small thermal power combustion using a small amount of combustion air.

The vaporization type oil combustion apparatus is equipped with: a box type carburetor 1 equipped with a heater 2 for vaporization and formed with an outlet 7 for mixed gas in a lower part; a gas chamber 18 communicated with the outlet 7 in a back face side of the carburetor 1 and having a burner part 19 in an upper part; a fuel injection nozzle 3 jetting out fuel from a one side face facing the carburetor 1; and a venturi part 4 supplying the combustion air. By forming a vaporization face of the carburetor 1 receiving spraying of the fuel and the combustion air as a vertical vaporization face 8, and forming the venturi part 4 as an oval hole shape and positioning the fuel injection nozzle 3 in an upper side than its center, the dropping fuel oil is suppressed by the vigorous combustion air, and favorable combustion can be constantly provided without risk of delay of fuel oil vaporization timing.
