Abstract:
A method of making a carburetor by first extruding a length of material and then cutting a carburetor body (10) of predetermined length from the extrusion. The extrusion includes a passageway (14). A venturi member (40) is molded of plastic material and inserted in the passageway. A fuel bowl (54) is molded from plastic material and is secured to the body by means of a resilient clip (98).
