Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a variable beam width antenna capable of varying radial beam width (antenna gain) on a large scale.
CONSTITUTION: A main reflecting mirror 1 is an offset parabola reflecting mirror, and the beam direction 20 of the main reflecting mirror 1 and the beam direction 21 of a 1st order radiator 2 are set in parallel. By deviating 5', 5' within a flat surface including a plane mirror on the plane mirror by a sub- reflecting mirror 5, the electromagnetic coupling of the main reflecting mirror 1 and the 1st order radiator 2 is varied in the range of 0 to 100%.
