Abstract:
To provide a variable capacitance element in which the passage of direct current is prevented.
The variable capacitor element comprises: a first capacitative element 3 that has plate electrodes 3a and 3b opposed to each other via a ferroelectric layer 2; and a second capacitative element 4 that is formed on the ferroelectric layer 2 and has comb electrodes 4a and 4b opposed to each other. The plate electrodes 3a and 3b and the comb electrodes 4a and 4b are not opposed to each other via the ferroelectric layer 2, and one plate electrode 3a and one comb electrode 4a are electrically connected.
